The Action Engineering Slide-Away Platen System allows the platen to move completely out from underneath the heated upper platen. This unique sliding design gives operators a full, unobstructed loading area so large or awkward substrates can be positioned safely and accurately before being moved into the press zone.

By eliminating the need to work underneath a hot heat-press platen, operators gain better visibility, safer loading conditions, and greater control when positioning oversized items.

Once the substrate is properly aligned, the platen simply slides into the heating area for pressing.
