Heat Press Quick Release Retrofit Kit 

Good news for Heat Press users! Action Engineering now offers a Quick Release Retrofit Kit that upgrades your Stahl's and MEM machine to work with all of our standard and specialty platens. Installation is simple, and once it's set up, swapping platens takes just seconds. 

Traditional heat press platens are heavy, awkward, and require the operator to perfectly center the pallet over the mounting block before lowering it into place. This motion is slow, imprecise, and not ergonomic - especially for shops changing platens multiple times per shift.

Our Quick Release Retrofit Kit eliminates all of that. Instead of hovering a 10-20lb platen in midair while hunting for the mount, the operator simply:

1. Drops the back edge of the pallet onto the retrofit's receiving feature - a guided mounting plate we refer to as the "tongue". 

2. With the pallet resting safely on the tongue, the operator pushes forward until the pallet seats itself onto the retrofit block. 

3. A twist-to-lock spring plunger then snaps into position, securing the pallet instantly.
